The Building Act requires all contractors to hold the appropriate license issued by the R\u00e9gie du b\u00e2timent (RBQ). The RBQ verifies knowledge and skills through examinations and makes sure that contractors are solvent. In accordance with the Act, AVANTAGE-PLUS INC. holds a general contractor license that allows it to perform work in all categories of general renovation.<\/p>\n

Association provinciale des constructeurs d’habitation du Qu\u00e9bec inc.<\/h3>\n

This certification allows A+ to offer the APCHQ Renovation Guarantee program. The Renovation Guarantee program is the most recognized guarantee program by financial institutions, the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019habitation du Qu\u00e9bec and consumers themselves.<\/p>\n

APCHQ – R\u00e9no Maitre<\/h3>\n

The APCHQ (Quebec provincial home builders association) symbol of excellence is awarded to contractors that set themselves apart through the quality of their work and the services they provide to customers. R\u00e9no-Ma\u00eetre is a certification granted by the APCHQ to companies that have stood out for their professionalism over the years. AVANTAGE-PLUS has R\u00e9no-Ma\u00eetre certification.<\/p>\n

Commission de la construction du Qu\u00e9bec<\/h3>\n

Created in 1987, the Commission de la construction du Qu\u00e9bec (CCQ) is responsible for administering the Act Respecting Labour Relations, Vocational Training and Workforce Management in the Construction Industry (Act R-20), which governs this industry.<\/p>\n

Residential building guarantee<\/h3>\n

Officially authorized by the Board of Directors of the R\u00e9gie du b\u00e2timent du Qu\u00e9bec (RBQ) on July 3, 2014, the residential building guarantee (GCR) program is run by an independent non-profit organization mandated to administer the new residential building guarantee program for all of Quebec.
