When Clinique Fertilys chose to locate in Brossard, the challenge was clear: to transform an empty space initially intended to house conventional offices within an 18-story office tower into a cutting-edge and highly specialized fertility clinic.

Founded in 2013 by Dr. Pierre Miron and Moncef Benkhalifa, Fertilys is a human-scale assisted reproductive technology (ART) center dedicated to scientific innovation in the service of parenthood. For over ten years, the clinic has supported hundreds of couples with a rigorous, ethical, and personalized medical approach. It emphasizes clinical excellence, technological innovation, and compassionate, respectful support.

“The main challenge was adapting a raw space, originally designed for standard offices, to the technical requirements of a specialized clinic. The ventilation, electricity, and plumbing had to be completely redesigned. One of the client’s key requests was to integrate the mechanical ventilation room within the premises—a rare requirement in an office building—in order to meet the strict standards of the medical sector. This decision required careful coordination with all the professionals involved, as well as with the building owners, to ensure that it did not impact other tenants or compromise the building’s mechanical systems.”
